Choose characters that make daily content faster, reduce deaths, and work without rare gear. A unit that requires perfect timing or expensive support can be excellent later but frustrating before your account has enough resources.

Early mistakes compound because upgrade materials are limited. Before raising a second damage dealer, make sure your main team has survival, utility, and a plan for different enemy types.
